Fishpools Chooses EASY Software To Capture And Archive Over 100 Years Of Sales Data

The family-run retailer, which has been in business since 1899, has been using EASY CAPTURE for Purchase Ledger and Sales Order related documentation for around three months and is already seeing the time saving and productivity benefits.
Alice Norris, Operations Director at Fishpools, comments:

She continues:
‘There are a minimum of five bits of paper associated with each customer, all of which are vital parts of the sales and delivery process. We handle around 31,000 purchase orders a year alone, but there’s also sales orders, purchase order acknowledgements, supplier delivery notes, customer delivery notes, pre-Goods-In schedules, supplier payments, container purchase orders and so on. All of these documents have to be stored and readily accessible for many years after the original transaction for compliance and risk avoidance purposes.’
Alice had previously used an EASY Software solution in 2008 at a previous job and had been so impressed by how effective and easy to use it was that she had no hesitation in recommending it when the opportunity arose at Fishpools. The new system will replace a manual system and will link via web services to Fishpool’s ERP system, Swan retail.
EASY CAPTURE ensures not only automatic capturing, indexing and smart sorting of colour or black and white hard copy documents, but also processes Word and Excel files and every other type of electronic documents. Using high-performance scanners in batch operation, EASY CAPTURE handles production-level volumes of documents, storing them logically in electronic workboxes and topic-related document stacks. The user then links document pages electronically assigning documents index terms from which they can later be easily retrieved.
The solution was aimed at reducing the paper processes carried out at Fishpool’s head office and reducing the dependency on using paper records to perform operational duties.
Fishpools is a well-established firm with 62,000 square feet of retail space, a huge distribution centre, around 150 staff and an annual turnover of £24 million.
It is envisaged that in future the EASY solution can be expanded to include EASY DOCUMENTS so that business processes can be incorporated too. This would create improved visibility and transparency to some key operational processes within the business

EASYSoftware Scores With Premier League Customer Win

The Premier League, which has been a customer of EASY Software since 2005, has now chosen the EASY INVOICE accounts automation solution to process the 1,000 or so invoices which it receives from suppliers every month. The new system will also provide an electronic centralised storage area, which will eventually do away with unnecessary hard copies and excessive paper waste.
EASY INVOICE is a pre-configured solution package specifically designed for Accounts Payable departments to completely automate their purchase invoice process. Functions include: intelligent OCR (optical character recognition) to extract invoice data from paper and electronic invoices, rules-based workflow for authorisation posting the extracted data to Microsoft Dynamics GP and finally storing documents long term in the EASY Software archive. The process significantly reduces processing times for purchase invoices and at the same time removes the need for error-prone routine data input by employees.
Richard Lindsay, Network and Systems Manager at the Premier League, comments:

Resigning from Supervisory Board mandate

Premiere: EASY SOFTWARE to present its solution for the Digital Personnel File at „HRM Expo“ in Cologne (Germany)

For the first time, EASY SOFTWARE and its longtime partner HENRICHSEN AG will showcase their solutions this year at „HRM Expo“, Europe’s biggest specialist tradeshow for Human Resource Management (HRM). This tradeshow will take place in Cologne, September 25 through 27, 2012.
The EASY presence will focus on the product EASY RECORDS for HR. EASY RECORDS for HR is the efficient solution for the Digital Personnel File, as well as some elementary HR processes in modern enterprises. This solution supports users in efficiently managing the Digital Personnel File, including revision-proof archiving. A user-friendly and intuitive Web interface enables users to flexibly access digitized documents in the centrally managed Personnel File. CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia 2011 in Istanbul: Successful show for EASY Partner Softay

This year CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia 2011 welcomed more than 120,000 visitors to Istanbul. Expert meeting in Leipzig: document management in the healthcare sector

Three successful days in Cologne:EASY SOFTWARE looks back positively on DMS Expo

Now that DMS Expo 2007 in Cologne is over, EASY has every reason to be positive: With more than 20,000 trade visitors, the number of visitors to the trade show rose by 4% as compared to the previous year – a trend from which EASY SOFTWARE, which presented its entire product suite, was also able to benefit. Additionally, the EASY booth was used intensively by partners to introduce their solutions and services.

For three days EASY SOFTWARE presented its entire product suite to DMS trade visitors. Overall, twelve partners made use of the opportunity to present themselves together with EASY at its booth. So all three days of the trade show were used to provide intensive information, demonstration, and individual consulting.  Feedback was positive throughout. The EASY booth also set standards in terms of visitor popularity. Both the EASY booth and the party illustrated that EASY SOFTWARE comes out top in regard to all aspects.

High visibility of EASY SOFTWARE

„The high ‚visibility‘ of EASY SOFTWARE in the entire competitive environment was particularly striking“, says Dr. Torsten Engers, head of Product Management. In fact, with its height and design, the EASY booth was significantly outstanding among the mass of 385 exhibitors. The quality of the presented products and solutions was also convincing.  „Demand for workflow-based solutions such as those for incoming invoices for Navision and SAP was particularly high“, explains Dr. Engers. Notes conference in Bonn, Germany: EASY SOFTWARE AG presented itself at DNUG

Every year, DNUG holds two conferences lasting several days where top consultants from end user companies from the Consulting industry as well as leading members of Lotus Europe and the USA introduce state-of-the-art groupware technology products, and explain important new strategies. The fall conference in 2007 took place at Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany; EASY SOFTWARE AG also took this as the opportunity to showcase its products from the Lotus Notes environment to a variety of attendees.

Brent Peters, Vice President Notes/Domino Product Development, opened the event. „The trade show was well attended, with top presenters,“ commented Frank Schoenberg, Key Account Manager for the Notes sector at EASY SOFTWARE AG.  „Existing contacts were intensified, and new ones were established.
