HRW Karriere: EASY as a potential employer

54 companies, professional organizations and institutions came together at the sixth HRW Karriere on the campus of the university Hochschule Ruhr West (HRW) in December. In the thick of it was EASY SOFTWARE AG at Booth 42. HR staffer Sabine Wohland and her team took the opportunity again this year to introduce EASY SOFTWARE to students and to have a discussion with the specialists of tomorrow.
“It is important for us as a company to present ourselves as a potential employer in the region and actively seek a dialog. In my experience, the students are very interested,” reports Sabine Wohland. “Information on employment and career opportunities during and after their studies is very popular.”


Grant serves as a door opener

Also at the EASY booth, fittingly: Jan Vogt. The information management student received a grant to further his studies at HRW as part of the EASY SOFTWARE AG company grant program. Vogt thus has a special role to play. Heinz Lison, Chair of the HRW support society, put it in a nutshell, “Grantees like Jan Vogt are messengers for their university and can open doors for future graduates in the company. The commitment of a company such as EASY SOFTWARE AG clearly shows that young talent and well-trained specialists are urgently needed.”


Restocking the applicant pool

And the prospects are good that some new talents will wind up at EASY. “We had a lot of good discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. We were able to really restock our applicant pool, and our booth drew the attention not only of interested students, but also of other companies that were present,” summarized Sabine Wohland.
