A “meeting” with valuable discussions: EASY relaunches its TechTalk meeting
EASY SOFTWARE AG successfully seized on the established idea of its erstwhile regular EASY meeting, adjusting it to the current requirements with a view to the needs of its partners. On the day that occurs only once every four years, i.e. February 29, the first TechTalk meeting took place in the new conference rooms of the Muelheim guildhall. Due to the strong positive feedback from participants, the presentation and discussion sessions will provide the opportunity for certified EASY partners to get information about the current state of EASY products and solutions, engage in on-site discussions with the specialists, and make and maintain contacts with other partners at regular intervals.
During the entire all-day event, various experts from individual EASY departments gave EASY partners valuable previews of their work as part of presentations. The range of topics covered included the new EASY certification model, EASY APPLIANCE and “ESX Server in Support”, full text search in EASY ENTERPRISE.x and quality assurance, and explanations of EASY ENTERPRISE.x technology in practice.Â
Emphasis was on the partnership idea, and the partner network was strengthened
Looking back on the event with enthusiasm, Christoph Koehne, head of EASY PartnerPort, concluded: “Our TechTalk meeting was very successful. It fully and completely fulfilled its purpose, emphasizing the partnership idea. In addition, it promoted expanding the network for all those involved.”
Carsten Werner, head of EASY Partner Management, agreed: “This was a huge success, and it gave us invaluable feedback from our partners, who appreciate that this communication platform is available.” As concerns continuation of this event series, Carsten Werner concluded: “We will adjust our next TechTalk meetings still more to the needs of our partners to generate the greatest possible benefit for all those involved.”
Rapid conclusion with crash helmet and trophy award
The day event closed with a cart race in the neighboring town of Essen. For one and a half hours nine teams, a mix of partner representatives and EASYians, went round after round on the roofed racecourse. A trophy was eventually awarded to every participant, because on this particular day all participants were winners.
